DVD evenings

When you have a spiritual practice, you will probably sometimes wonder what exactly is happening. Where does it lead? Why are old feelings or patterns emerging? And occasionally there are even thoughts along the lines of ‘why am I even still doing this’.

Back to the Authentic Self
Any practice that goes deeper than gathering spiritual insights or experiences will leave you confused at times. With Reiki (our practice) we explain that this is because it helps you let go of who you are not. It brings you back to your authentic self.

Recognition
Support, understanding and encouragement can help you in many ways. Fortunately, there are teachers/awakend masters who offer this. In a beautiful, humorous and clear way they explain what this path of awakening entails. For us there is always a lot of recognition in their words.

Essence of life
Of course, you don’t need to have an own practice to be interested in the essence of life. You can anyway let in what the teachers say and experience the effect on your life.

Eckhart Tolle, Mooji and Ram Dass
We have long been organizing DVD evenings of Eckhart Tolle, Mooji and Ram Dass. We ourselves experience them as pleasant and ‘real’. They or their publishers also allow us to show the recordings.
We watch a recording together these evenings. This always gives more depth than just looking at it at home. As a group we support each other, so to speak.
The recordings are in English.

Advice from the masters
We follow the advice of the teachers for these kinds of evenings. First there is about 10 minutes of silence. Then the recording starts and we end with 5 to 10 minutes of silence. This prevents us from getting stuck in our heads or reinforcing our ego afterwards. So there is no discussion afterwards or anything.

Practical information
The DVD evenings are given in our Reiki center in The Hague. It varies which day of the week this is. The evenings start at 7:15 PM and usually end around 9:30 PM.

The costs are € 5,= per person.
